Flat Rock Picnic Area is a popular swimming, fishing, camping and picnicking spot amongst locals. Located right on Fish river and only a short distance from Bathurst city centre, this is a great spot to spend a day camp overnight.

Located just 25 minutes from Bathurst and situated on the beautiful Fish River. The road out from Bathurst to Flat rock Picnic Area is sealed and accessible via two-wheel-drive cars.

The site has toilets, a free barbeque and is a pet-friendly site. Portable water is not available. Bring drinkable water with you when planning a trip. The ground is fairly flat and suitable for caravans and tents alike however, there are no powered sites.
