Dolphin Swim Australia provides the only permitted wild dolphin swim in NSW and the first wild dolphin swim of its kind in the world! The wild dolphin swim occurs offshore with swim leaders who are trained to take our guests through the most amazing experience of their lives with energetic and inquisitive oceanic dolphins!

This unique activity provides a thrilling experience where guests are so close to the dolphins that they feel like they are a part of the pod and are able to witness true dolphin behaviour!

Each tour includes training with a professional, fun and dedicated team, all necessary equipment (wetsuit, mask, snorkel and safety harness), an educational commentary, a four hour cruise aboard a beautiful 52 foot catamaran, a light breakfast and above-water photos which are taken throughout the morning and are later posted on Dolphin Swim Australia’s Facebook page from where guests may copy and/or share the photos.

Join Dolphin Swim Australia for an exciting snorkelling experience with WILD dolphins that will leave you breathless! Not only is this the only permitted and completely wild dolphin swim in NSW, it is the first wild dolphin swim of its kind in the world! Only 2.5 hours drive north of Sydney in stunning Port Stephens – the dolphin capital of Australia – this personal, small group tour will provide you with lifelong memories!

The four hour tour includes supply of wetsuit, mask, snorkel, safety harness and a light breakfast, plus training in swim procedures and snorkelling. An educational commentary on the fantastic Common and Oceanic Bottlenose Dolphins, as well as the Port Stephens-Great Lakes Marine Park environment, is also included. Above water photos are taken throughout each tour and uploaded to Dolphin Swim Australia’s Facebook page from where guests may share and copy at no extra charge!

There is a maximum of 24 swimmers per tour. Private charters and group programs are also available and welcome.

You will be able to observe swimmers entering into the world of either the amazing Common Dolphin, or the Common (Oceanic) Bottlenose Dolphin! Not only do DSA conduct the only permitted and completely wild dolphin swim in NSW, but it’s the first wild dolphin swim of its kind in the world!

DSA’s Wild Dolphin Watch includes a four hour cruise and complimentary light breakfast. An educational commentary on the Common Dolphins and Common (Oceanic) Bottlenose Dolphins, as well as the Port Stephens-Great Lakes Marine Park environment, is also included.

There is a maximum of 12 observers per tour. Private charters and group programs are also available and welcome.
