Wine tasting is not for the elite, nor is it that complicated – it just takes practice, but what a great skill to practice over and over again…
The wineries surrounding the Canberra district have been around since the 1830s and are now producing some of Australia’s finest vintages. Tours will showcase some of the regions local producers and you’ll be able to sample some fabulous local food matched with fabulous local wine. It’s thinking and drinking – what’s not to love!

Murrumbateman is located approximately 30 kilometres from Canberra and although located in NSW, is arguably the capital of Canberra’s cool climate wine region. On this tour, visit a minimum of five wineries and learn about what makes this area unique. You’ll learn what makes a region cool climate, a bit of history about the area, and of course sample and compare plenty of wine along the way. Stop for lunch at a local winery where you can sample some of the regions finest produce.
What’s included: tastings at four wineries, two course lunch plus glass of wine, transport with pick up and drop off at your hotel or home, good company and their expertise!
