Get Creative Crookwell

Get Creative is the brainchild of the late Margaret Wonson, who has always been interested in creative pursuits.

Having helped in the local art gallery for years, Margaret then set about finding suitable premises for her interests and in mid-November 2021 Get Creative was born. The new owner Julie Simpson, with her family Katie and Colin, are continuing Margaret’s legacy.

Not only is the Gallery a place to view and purchase beautiful artworks from over 60 artists, who work and live locally, but it is also a place to attend a range of courses that have been put together involving the help of the talented local artists.

You can learn such things as photography, leather work, metal work, knitting, clay and glass sculpting, writing and poetry, painting and drawing to name just a few.
