Surrounded by wineries, with views of the Brindabella Ranges, Blackwattle Alpaca Farm, offers a unique alpaca farm experience. Their alpaca tours allow you to experience heart-warming moments with their cute and quirky alpacas and llamas! Their adorable little faces will have you smiling and laughing the whole time.

This is a private farm, giving you a wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with their alpacas and llamas. Their tour guides will introduce you to some of their happy herd. During your visit, learn about their quirky personalities, which you will find delightful. Blackwattle Alpaca Farm is open all year round and provides guests with an immersive alpaca and llama experience!

Entry to the farm is free but to cuddle, hand feed and take photos with their alpacas and llamas be sure to book a tour. The farm also offers picnics, catered from their onsite cafe.

Their tour guides will make sure you get lots of magical moments and a chance to take some very beautiful photos with their alpacas and llamas that will make all your friends want to visit!

During your visit, be sure to check out the Farm Shop, which is filled with lots of yummy hand-dyed yarn and alpaca and llama-inspired gifts.

As you step into the paddock, you’ll find yourself encircled by our herd of happy alpacas and llamas, all eagerly anticipating the delicious treats you’ve brought to fill their bellies! These friendly creatures are more than happy to enjoy the treats straight from your bucket. However, if you’re eager to forge a closer connection, there’s no llama-drama involved in hand-feeding your newfound fluffy companions!

Come and walk one of the alpacas or llamas across our farm, around the dam and back again, with lots of stops along the way for photos! Followed by a hand-feeding session where you will get to feed the happy herd from a bucket filled with yummy alpaca and llama treats!

During the guided tour will enjoy an exciting and educational talk on the history of alpacas and llamas, learn about their quirky personalities and gain an insight into what is involved to get the fibre from the paddock to a finished product.

You will finish off the tour with a complimentary morning tea (tea/coffee/soft drink and cake/slice of the day with berries and cream) to enjoy while you watch the herds grazing in their paddocks.

At the end of the tour, you will make your way to the picnic area which is set up with chairs, pillows, blankets and flowers. Celebrate your special event with a fun, informative and unforgettable alpaca-themed party at Blackwattle Alpaca Farm.

An experienced animal handler and tour guide will provide an educational talk and demonstration all about alpacas and llamas, where guests will have the opportunity to have all of their farm and camelid questions answered! There will be an opportunity to pet a llama or alpaca, take some fun photos with him and capture some magical memories. From there, your party will take a short stroll to one of the paddocks where tasty treats and mouth-watering muesli will be provided for you and your guests to hand-feed the happy herd!

After meeting and hand-feeding the happy herd, your group is provided with a private party space to enjoy the rest of the event, where party bags and a gift for the birthday person await. Do you have a toddler who is crazy about animals? Then Pacca Playgroup is for you!

An experienced tour guide will show you around the farm and introduce you to the crazy characters that make up the alpaca and llama herd. The kids will get the chance to hand feed the alpacas over the fence and receive an ‘I fed an alpaca and llama’ sticker.

Sensory boxes will be brought out, giving kids the chance to explore genuine alpaca/llama fleece, dyed wool, finished woollen products, alpaca feed and other related items. The kids will also have the opportunity to complete a small alpaca/llama craft item.
