Frida’s Field
Food and Drink Nashua, Byron, New South Wales
Just 10 minutes from Bangalow and 25 minutes from central Byron Bay in the beautiful Byron Bay Hinterland, Frida’s Field is a 120-acre regenerative farm, restaurant and event space.
Hosting three set menu long lunches per week on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays (and Thursdays over summer). Guests enjoy a uniquely slow-food Northern Rivers experience, with each lunch being a communal feast shared amongst the members of your booking and taking a leisurely three hours to enjoy.
Menus are carefully curated by multi-award-winning chef Alastair Waddell, and showcase seasonal organic produce from the Frida’s Field market garden, food forest orchard and paddocks; as well as fresh local produce from other producers in the Northern Rivers region. The restaurant is housed in an architecturally-designed barn with stunning views of rolling green hills and lush pastures.
Frida’s Field is run by a family of food lovers who are excited to be part of the growing regenerative agriculture movement and use farming practices that actively reverse environmental degradation while producing food that is more natural, flavourful and nutritious. By coming onto the farm to enjoy a bountiful long lunch, you’ll be supporting them to keep expanding their ecological farming system and its integration with the farm kitchen.
