Litchfield Tropical Retreat is 1 hour’s drive from Darwin CBD and ideal for families or small groups of up to 10 plus 2 babies.
This fully renovated, well appointed and self-contained 3 bedroom/3 bathroom light, airy and elevated Territory-style house has a large, comfortable lounge with TV, huge kitchen, separate dining and breakfast rooms and 2 huge balconies with BBQ and hammock.
For larger groups we can provide 2 single air mattresses in a couple of the bedrooms, there is a queen sofa in the lounge that can sleep an additional 2 people and there are 2 cots. Highchair is also available.
All linen and towels are provided. Just bring your personal items, food and drinks. (The local Tavern, Litchfield Motel which are both within walking distance do good evening meals if you don’t want to cook).
Litchfield National Park’s Buley Rock Hole and Florence Falls are both 30 mins drive away; as is the historical township of Adelaide River where WW2, Railway Precinct and markets may be of interest.
The birdlife is amazing; as are the sunsets.
No pets or wild parties but celebrating life is encouraged !

Private, tropical, fully furnished, self-contained quintessentially ‘Territorian’ 3 bed elevated home. Has fans & A/C throughout and is set amongst a lush, green garden with abundant flowers and some fruit trees, overlooking bushland. 2 large balconies, comfortable seating, BBQ, hammock. Sleeps max of 8 using 3 QS beds & sofa bed. An additional 2 people can sleep ion air mattresses in a couple of the bedrooms. There is also a 3rd full bathroom with toilet, shower and sink downstairs adjacent to a fully appointed laundry with eco-friendly drying line nearby.
Very private, spacious, secure and comfortable. A great ‘getaway’…. We look forward to welcoming you to this perpetual summer haven.
