Wirib Store & Tourism Park
Where To Stay Timber Creek, Victoria Daly, Northern Territory
Wirib Tourism Park is in Timber Creek, halfway between Katherine and Kununurra on the Victoria Highway in the Northern Territory.
Indigenous-owned, Wirib welcomes all travellers, but we are particularly well set up to service caravanners and campers with shady, large, powered and unpowered camping spots. We have a communal bathroom, communal kitchen, coin-operated laundry and a lovely cooling pool where you can cool off, have a sundowner and catch up on travelling news from the other travellers in the park.
Our store is stocked with fresh supplies, made to order food, pastries, yummy coffee and freshly baked bread. We boast the cheapest fuel in town and the friendliest service. Fuel is available every day.
We are a relaxed park that welcomes pets and we have a few pets of our own. In the creek that runs through the back of the property, we have freshwater crocodiles that you will see if you’re quiet and patient. The birds are amazing too.
An ideal spot to stay if you’re fishing on the Victoria River or exploring the Gregory National Park, we have a range of rooms to suit any group size.
