Departing from Katherine, we head for the mouth of the mighty Katherine Gorge whilst tracking along the Katherine River. We then cruise over ALL 13 Gorges before visiting the incredible Biddlecombe Cascades and Crystal Falls.

Our 1 Hour Katherine Gorge, 17 Mile Valley & Edith Falls Helicopter Tour is the perfect showcase of the Katherine region. Departing from Katherine, following the Katherine River we head for the mouth of the Katherine Gorge passing over ALL 13 Gorges. We then head back to 17 Mile Valley, where we closely follow the infamous Jatbula Trail, taking time to spot the incredible waterfalls of Biddlecombe Cascades, Crystal Falls and 17 Mile Falls. Then crossing over the beautiful NT outback we make our way to Edith Falls and view the cascading waterfalls and pools on the Edith River.

This incredible experience showcases the most stunning scenery the Katherine region has to offer. Flying along the Katherine River to the Katherine Gorge we then fly over ALL 13 of the stunning sandstone Gorges within the Nitmiluk National Park. Afterwards, we head north up 17 mile valley to the spectacular falls of Biddlecombe Cascades. We then track to our remote helipad, landing on the top of an impressive sandstone gorge, which we call, Hilly’s Hill.

Where you can view the incredible NT sunset in the most serene location wile enjoying complementary champagne and cheese board. We will spend approximately half an hour here, before returning to Katherine. If you would like to book the sunset, please select the 5pm time slot.

Maybe sunsets aren’t your thing? Don’t worry! We run this tour flight throughout the day, so perhaps brunch or a late lunch…it’s up to you!
