NorthSite Contemporary Arts

NorthSite is a leading contemporary art gallery and fine-art retail space located within Bulmba-ja Arts Centre (formerly Centre of Contemporary Arts) in the Cairns CBD.

Showcasing the best art, craft and design by artists from across Far North Queensland including Gulf, Cape York and Torres Strait Islands, the gallery is a lovely and welcoming experience for locals and visitors alike. A must see!

Each year NorthSite presents over 30 exhibitions and programs for diverse artists and audiences. Its one of few federally supported visual arts companies in Queensland, attesting to the quality and strength of offerings.

NorthSite works closely with and supports over 300 artists each year and is the only place to purchase original and rare Lino prints and etchings by leading Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists created through Djumbunji Press (A centre for printmaking excellence 2007-2014).
