Warrina Lakes

Parks and Gardens

Just a few minutes drive from Innisfail’s shopping centre, Warrina lakes has all the facilities you need for a great family day out. Including a new Pump Track!

Here you’ll find a children’s playground near a charming lake with water lilies, ducks and turtles. Enjoy a barbecue at one of several gazebos and picnic tables dotted around the lake. Throw a rug down for a picnic under one of the large shady trees or set yourself up in the large undercover area.

See if there are any flowers or native fruits on the 15000 rainforest trees that were planted in the gardens when it was originally created. There are pram-friendly walking circuits around the park.

Warrina Lakes is a popular bird watching area. Over the bridge there is a small wetland ecosystem surrounded by sedges that attracts wetland birds. There is a large open air hall and kitchen which can be hired for functions. There is one and a half kilometres of continuous footpath for you to stroll along amongst the rainforest trees.

Warrina Lakes and Gardens is located at the junction of Charles and Emily Streets. The Gardens are open seven days 9am to 6pm weekdays and weekends 10am to 6pm.
