Enjoy a morning Daintree River Cruise looking for the wildlife of the area, followed by morning tea including some delicious freshly made lamingtons along with tea, coffee or fruit juice.
Next we head to down to the beautiful Mossman Gorge for an interpretive rainforest walk and a swim in the gorge itself. The tour then heads back to Port Douglas returning just before lunch.

Your day starts with a drive along the Captain Cook Highway learning about the history of the area. Grab a drink from the bar and a small snack before the cruise along the mighty Daintree River, spotting the varied wildlife of this estuarine environment including, of course, the Saltwater Crocodile.
Next is a drive down to Mossman Gorge for an interpretive walk to truly understand the rainforest before jumping in for a swim in the Gorge itself. Many calendars and posters feature this swimming area and you will see why.
The tour finishes with a 20-minute drive back to Port Douglas.

This is the Daintree Discovery tour that gives you more- travel in a group of no more than ten guests in a customised Toyota Hiaces. Start the day with a “Welcome to Country” smoking ceremony performed by the local Kuku Yalndji people. This is followed by an early morning walk in Mossman Gorge, before morning tea at the Mossman Gorge Visitor Centre.
After the Gorge, head up and across the Daintree River on the vehicular ferry before taking another immersive walk in the Daintree Rainforest. A fully cooked lunch is next, with time to enjoy a swim in the crystal clear waters of Cooper Creek.
The afternoon involves a trip to Cape Tribulation where the rainforest meets the reef. Walk along the beautiful sandy beach, learn about the history and take in the glorious views.
The tour then turns south via the tasty Daintree Ice-cream Company before a quick stop at Alexandra Range lookout, followed by a one-hour boat cruise on the Daintree River. Keep your eyes open for crocodiles snakes and birds.
After you have enjoyed this stunning area, the tour returns down the Captain Cook Highway home.
