While teaching their clients it is ok to take fish for consumption in moderation. Instead, enjoy the exciting part of the fishing experience – catching them! From their home base in Port Douglas, East Coast Angling travels to some of the most stunning and remote sport fishing locations on the globe and they do it in the best boats, with the most professional gear, and an expert crew. Their whole operation is finely tuned to deliver the ultimate fishing experience. They practice best handling procedures with all of their fish to ensure the best chance of survival on release and you still get to go home with that trophy photos to show your friends and family.

Port Douglas Offshore

From $1650 to $1950

Running out of Port Douglas – experience the best of the Great Barrier Reef. There are several locations they visit depending on the weather, time of year, and species you want to target. They specialise in offering you a personalised reef experience. Whether you would like to go sportfishing or just spend a day out on the reef snorkelling around a remote sand cay. Join them aboard one of their custom-built centre consoles and enjoy the ultimate customized experience for you or your group.

On your fishing trip, you can expect good numbers of GT’s, dogtooth tuna, black marlin, nannygai, trout, and many other incredible species that call the reef home. They practice a catch and release sportfishing experience, but are happy for you to bring a couple of fish home to eat!

They depart each morning from the Crystalbrook Super Yacht Marina at 7 am or from the Dickson’s inlet boat ramp dependent on which boat you hire. These fast and extremely capable seagoing boats will have you out on the reef faster than any other operator which means more time on the water! You will enjoy a fun-filled private day in a small and private group.

Join us for our ultimate expeditions aboard our 80ft mothership, where we will be exploring the far northern stretched of the Great Barrier Reef and outer limits of the Coral Sea in search of those dream fish.

These extended live aboard trips are the ultimate way to experience the worlds most diverse and well managed fishery around. While still enjoying the luxury and comfort of our mothership to end the day with a cold beverage and enjoy watching the sunset in the evenings after a great day on the water.
