Boat Club Whale Watch and Adventure Cruises provide excellent value whale watching (Jul – Oct) plus half day tours and BOOMNET adventure and sightseeing tours, departing year-round from Hervey Bay.

Offering a world-class, half-day whale watch in season or adventure cruise in summer aboard the purpose-built Amaroo, a fast and stable 20-metre catamaran featuring comfortable facilities and three viewing decks with an unobstructed, 360-degree view of all marine life.

A tranquil two-hour evening cruise through the pristine waters of the Sandy Straits at twilight watching the sunset over Hervey Bay, the perfect appetiser for your evening ahead.

Enjoy a complimentary glass of champagne as you soak up the changing colours of the bay. Keep your eyes peeled for our local dolphins and other wildlife that frequent the Marine Park at dusk. Kick back and relax as the sun sets behind the yardarm.

Early evening is a special time to be on the water. As everyone else heads for harbour marine wildlife comes out to play. You’ll find the peacefulness of the water perfectly reflecting the evening light, and the lights of Hervey Bay twinkling in the distance mesmerising.

Live music – Twice a month our Twilight Cruise includes live music performed aboard by a local musician such as – Airlie Beach Music Festival and Gympie Muster Talent winner – Sam Maddison or soulful Frank Benn. Visit our website or our Facebook page for dates and musicians.

Cruises depart daily from mid-July to late October. Morning cruise: 8.30am to 12.30pm. Afternoon cruise: 1.30pm to 5:30pm.

Captained and crewed by their experienced team with many years of local whale watch experience you’re in for a great day.

Scan the seas for a flash or a splash, signalling the start of your awe-inspiring experience. Watch the gentle giants of the sea spy-hop, tail slap and breach. Hold your breath while courting adults ‘boat’ around the vessel playing hide and seek as they are attracted to the Amaroos bright colours.

Experience an up close and personal mugging as they move in to watch you, watching them. You won’t miss a minute of the action as they lurch from the waves before your eyes.
