The stunning beauty of the Whitsundays islands are best explored by water, far from the madding crowds and we’ve curated this expedition from our intimate knowledge of the Whitsundays, having experienced them by land, air and sea over the last decade.

We’ve brought together the best parts to deliver you a kayaking adventure like no other. Paddle the eastern seaboard, explore hidden coves and bays, and camp under a carpet of stars.

Our Kayak the Whitsundays expedition will take you on an ocean safari around one of the most internationally recognised island archipelagos in the world. But, that’s only half of it – sunrise from summits, sunsets into the ocean, hike the trails, snorkel the fringing reefs, and watch whales alongside as we circumnavigate the islands.

We’ll also enjoy a number of other mad experiences, best suited to the warmth of the Whitsundays and our proximity to the Great Barrier Reef.
To end our week we unveil a Best Life Adventure’s finale to cap them all, with an ..oh hang on, you only get to find out what it is in the latter part of the week, but we guarantee it’ll be like nothing you’ve ever experienced before.

Our Extreme Dreams: Torres Strait expedition is a one-of-a-kind, pioneering, raw adventure in untamed sea country. It’s not for the faint-hearted and not everything will go to plan. What we can guarantee is a true ‘Robinson Crusoe’ style adventure.

After flying into Horn Island, we start the expedition from the Torres Strait Outrigger Club on Thursday Island setting off in two 6-man outrigger canoes to explore the archipelago of Southern Torres Islands. We camp on beaches under a tapestry of stars, spend time with the unique first-nations people of the region and supplement our food stores with whatever we can harvest from the ocean en route (crocodile isn’t very good to eat don’t worry).

Over the first few days of the expedition, we’ll hone the art of paddling outrigger canoes in the stunning waters around the southern islands, spend a day visiting the tip of Cape York, circumnavigate Muralug Island and enjoy some well-earned downtime on Badu Island.

Working closely with the local Torres Strait Islander communities, we’ll learn about their deep spiritual and cultural connection to the land and ocean, and witness rarely visited sacred sites, all with the blessing of the Traditional Owners.

The stunning beauty and relatively undiscovered wilderness of Moreton Bay and her islands are best explored by water, far from the crowded hot spots.

The Moreton Bay Wilderness expedition takes you on a three-day kayaking adventure to the most remote parts of the islands to explore hidden channels and sand dunes, watch the mystical marine life up close, and camp under a carpet of stars.

Over the three days, paddle 50kms across Moreton Bay and up the lee-side of North Stradbroke and Moreton Island which offer generally smooth-water conditions. The adventure ends at Tangalooma before catching the ferry back to the mainland.

This will be a true Best Life Adventure for the mind, body and soul. Previous kayaking experience isn’t necessary.
