This tour features a half day or full day snorkelling trip for up to 5 people to beautiful Orpheus Island’s coral reef which is absolutely amazing. Snorkel and swim in crystal clear water with hundreds of colourful tropical fish, magnificent giant clam shells, diverse corals including large plate corals and staghorn corals all just meters from the shoreline.

You will visit multiple coral sights around Orpheus Island chosen to ensure perfectly safe snorkelling (taking into account the weather and other conditions of the day).

The tour stops for an hour at Yanks Jetty for lunch, which is a large purpose built swimming/snorkelling platform, perfect for beginner level. You may take the opportunity sit and relax or stroll along the beautiful palm tree lined beach. Toilets are located at beach campgrounds.

Pickup at 9:00 am from Lucinda, Dungeness boat ramp.

Sightseeing and Sunset tours along Hinchinbrook Island, take a short trip up the channel to see ancient rainforest then have lunch at Picnic Beach, George Point. Do some crocodile spotting or If you like beautiful sunsets then the Hinchinbrook Island Sunset tour is for you. Morning and afternoon pick up from Dungeness boat ramp, Lucinda.

Sightseeing tours to Orpheus and the Palm’s Islands secluded beaches which have crystal clear water for swimming. Listen to some historical facts as you cruise around the beautiful Islands. Enjoy lunch at Yanks Jetty snorkelling pontoon where the fish and coral are easy to view. A toilet is located at the campsite. Tours depart from Dungeness boat ramp.

From June to September is whale watching season for humpback whales. The Palm Island/Orpheus Island area can be a hot spot for mothers and calves to rest. Young juveniles learn and show off their new skills on how to breach/jump and have fun in the flat waters around the Islands. They offer a 4-5 hour tour around the Islands stopping and spending time with each whale they see. The tour also also visits Yanks Jetty which is fully covered with picnic tables, a swimming platform, located on Orpheus Island. Enjoy lunch and the chance of a quick snorkel to see the beautiful coral gardens and hundreds of tropical fish surrounding the jetty. Toilets are located at the beach campgrounds. It is also a good time of year to spot manta rays which visit in larger numbers during the winter periods. Amazingly they even saw two fur seals in 2020, that were even photographed by a passenger.

LOCKY HAS COUNTED / RECORDED 184 WHALES IN THE 2019 WHALE WATCHING SEASON…..This season we have seen up to 20 whales a days.

Half and full day tours and transfers to Zoe Bay. Take a 20 minute walk through tropical rainforest to the base of the waterfalls. For those more adventurous, take a 15 minute hike to the top of the waterfalls where beautiful fresh mountain waters form swimming ponds overlooking Zoe Bay. Be amazed by the stunning views.

We provide lunch, and show you around the Island we don’t do guided tours on Hinchinbrook Island. We simply assist you by providing up to date instructions on how to get to the waterfall and proved lunch and water you stay as long as you want. Choose the half or full day tour depending on the time you want to spend there.
