The Roma Saleyards is Australia’s largest cattle selling centre, with over 400,000 cattle passing through a year.
Enjoy the state-of-the-art interactive centre telling the story of the cattle industry. As you enter, you could be forgiven for thinking you’d joined a cattle drive on the long paddock. The curved entrance comes to life.
The Interactive Centre is open from 8.00 am – 5.00 pm every day.
Join a free guided tour of Australia’s largest cattle selling centre, where local graziers teach you all about the local cattle industry and watch live as auctioneers demonstrate their fast-paced skills.
Tours commence at 8.30 am every Tuesday. However, it is recommended to arrive at 8.15 am.
Sales are every Tuesday however are subject to change.
Please wear closed-in shoes.

The Roma Saleyards Interpretive Centre is open every day, including weekends, between 8 am and 5 pm.
On Tuesdays from 8 am until 11 am, retired cattlemen volunteer their time to answer visitors’ questions about the saleyards and, more broadly, the cattle industry.
