Surat Shire Hall

The Surat Shire Hall was built in 1929, and heritage listed in 2007. This majestic building is a fine and intact example of a timber shire hall of its era, catering for both corporate and social functions.

This venue has hosted an array of events including wedding receptions, birthday parties, bush dances, funerals/wakes, training sessions and various performances and productions.

The Supper Room and Shire hall are linked by a covered walkway and courtyard area.
