Woody Point Jetty

Natural Attractions

An attraction that has history, beauty and great angling qualities, the Woody Point Jetty is a popular destination for all, especially photographers. Try your hand at fishing all year-round, and while ideal fishing times may vary, you can’t go past a sunrise or sunset fish with the beautiful hues of yellow, orange and red bounce across the horizon and reflecting in the water.

If fishing isn’t on your list of things to do, a picnic or a nice stroll along the waterfront are always a great alternative. There are plenty of fish and chips shops in the local vicinity as well as The Belvedere Hotel, known colloquially as the home of celebrations.
