Charleville’s Oldest Tree

Stop by Charleville’s oldest tree, a gracious and grand Moreton Bay Ash (Carbeen).

Its botanical name is Corymbia tessellaris and the tree is nationally registered. It is believed the tree maybe anywhere from 150-400 years old.

You can’t miss it – its right in the middle of King Street, just west of the Charleville hospital.
