Cambridge Downs Heritage Display Centre

Galleries, Museums and Collections

Discover the story of Richmond and the surrounding area over the past 150 years. Built from local flagstone rock, the Cambridge Downs Heritage Display Centre is a replica of the original Cambridge Downs Homestead built in the late 1880s. A visit to the Cambridge Downs Heritage Display Centre will help you better understand the trials and tribulations of our early pioneers. The Richmond Shire Council is conscious their unique history is in danger of being lost in a rapidly changing world. The replica will provide a secure location for the display of local records and artefacts.
