Crows Nest Gallery

Crows Nest Art Gallery actively nurtures and promotes the local artistic community, with monthly exhibitions featuring the original works of local painters, sculptors, photographers, textile artists, ceramicists, printmakers and wood turners.

The gallery also regularly features exhibitions and artists from outside the region and holds a popular Christmas Festival Exhibition where art works are available for sale.

The gallery’s annual Crows Nest Acquisitive Art Prize has gained a steady reputation, offering generous prize money and attracting high quality entries from far and wide.

Established in 1996 in the board room of the original Crows Nest Shire Chambers, the gallery is run by a part-time coordinator and a dedicated team of volunteers. It provides an arts reference point and fosters a community cultural identity, not only for those directly involved, but for visitors and the local community.
