Experience a full or half-day cultural tour in the Port Douglas – Daintree region of Tropical North Queensland.

Aboriginal guides explore Kuku Yalanji country, the only place where two world heritage sites meet, the world heritage listed Daintree Rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef and share the cultural connection the people have with their land.

Learn about the environment, different bush foods and medicines. Sample some seasonal bush tucker while appreciating the history, culture and traditions of their Australian Aboriginal people.

In order to provide more personalised tours, they operate each tour with a minimum of two passengers and a maximum of 11 passengers.

Starting with a pick up from your accommodation spend either the morning or afternoon with a local Aboriginal tour guide exploring Kuku Yalanji country, from the coastal habitats learning about the environment, different foods and medicines utilized from nature, sample some bush tucker, collect shellfish and try traditional Aboriginal hunting practices, have a go at spear throwing and if you are lucky, catch a mud crab.

Learn more about the cultural connection to country with a visit to the Mossman Gorge and a guided rainforest walk, and to complete the adventure and cool off in a pristine freshwater stream.
