You can choose from a large range of group-guided and self-guided adventures. All allow you opportunities to connect deeper with nature and improve your well-being, fitness and confidence. If you want a short adventure, they have day walks throughout South Australia and three hour night walks in the Adelaide Hills. Also, fully accessible Forest Bathing and Nature Therapy By the Ocean sessions to help you relax. Longer multi-day walks range from overnight getaways to multi-week walking tours around Australia and to international destinations.
They’re committed to providing tours, travel and wellness experiences for everyone, and have a fully accessible office and tour bus that can comfortably carry 12 seated passengers and two manual wheelchair passengers.

The Heysen Trail is a long distance hiking route covering 1200km. It starts in Cape Jervis on the Fleurieu Peninsula. Then extends north to Parachilna Gorge in the Flinders Ranges. It passes through Ngarrindjeri, Kaurna, Peramangk, Ngadjuri, Nukunu, Banggarla and Adnamathyna Country.
Complete the Heysen Trail the Big Heart Adventures way. Small groups (max 20), Environmentally friendly, Pack-free (day packs only), Safe, Fun and supported, Qualified bush walking leaders, Private bus transport, Catered morning tea on the trail, Connections with nature.
Experience the beauty of South Australia’s Heysen Trail and complete the full Heysen Trail pack-free this year. Completed over a series of day walks, weekend getaways and week long adventures.
Join our small group departures on weekends from April to October. Choose either a mixed group or a women only group to walk with.
For peace of mind, all walks are guided by our experienced female Leaders who are certified in remote area first aid and qualified in bush-walking leadership. Leaders carry a group first-aid kit, emergency communications device, emergency documentation and equipment.

Walk pack-free along 6 spectacular trails in the Flinders Ranges. This holistic experience samples everything you want when visiting this ancient land. Explore rocky gorges, traverse remote creek beds, step back in time on a geological trail and climb ranges with endless views.
Learn from the Adnyamathanha, connect deeply with nature, and enjoy beautifully prepared meals. Some shorter walks are also offered on this trip.

In this fully supported adventure we walk pack-free (daypacks only) along the final 5 sections of the iconic Heysen Trail. These sections are remote, so you will be walking through spectacular landscapes less visited.
