Stellar Science offers visitors the opportunity to look at the night sky through large 10 inch (250 mm) telescopes offering views of galaxies, nebula, stars and planets. We also have an advanced digital telescope, this sophisticated piece of equipment is not just for observation; it’s capable of recording the night sky’s marvels, allowing guests to take a piece of the universe back home with them.

The experience is further enriched by the opportunity to capture a memento photograph with the breathtaking Milky Way as the backdrop, providing a lasting memory of the visit.

Stellar Science is more than just a stargazing tour; it’s an educational journey through the stars, designed to inspire and enlighten visitors of all ages.

A short tour of the night sky focusing on the brighter objects, including the key constellations, and globular clusters – including one with 10 million stars and a black hole.

Get a guided tour of the planets that are in the night sky, along with a look at globular clusters, including one with 10 million stars, a tour of the constellations and the stories surrounding them. They will also point your telescope at some nebulae (the birthplace of stars) and other galaxies. Finish off the evening with a photo of you and your group under the stars. You will also receive access to digital images of every object observed in the evening, taken as you view them.

Then return early in the morning, to see how much a new set of objects to the north and how the southern objects have rotated around the southern celestial pole.

You will also receive access to digital images of every objects observed in the evening and the morning.
