Southern Cultural Immersion is a Kaurna owned business sharing our culture on our Traditional Lands in Adelaide, South Australia. Join us to learn about First Nations history, significant Aboriginal sites, traditional practices, native plants and foods, and more.

Working in partnership with government agencies, community organisations, the corporate sector, educators, and individuals, our goal is to create positive outcomes and a shared vision for a reconciled Australia.

We employ majority Aboriginal staff. A percentage of our profits are donated to the Kaurna Meyunna Trust.

Cultural training, community engagement, art and cultural workshops and cultural tours are all fundamental aspects of the broad portfolio of services provided by SCI.

Led by our Aboriginal tour guide, we’ll walk the Gardens together to learn some of its history from a First Nations perspective. We’ll take an in depth look at Indigenous plants and their traditional uses, and explore the significant connection that Aboriginal people hold with Country.

Walk and learn some of the wonderful and tragic colonial history of our state’s capital while visiting several sites in the heart of Adelaide and discover the city from a First Nations perspective. Visit prominent sites such as old and new Parliament Houses, Elder Park, and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander War Memorial among others while we walk together in the spirit of harmony and reconciliation.

On this bus tour, we’ll visit a number of highly significant Kaurna sites. Throughout the day we walk Country together, building a sense of connection and unpacking a shared understanding of cultural values. We will discuss the impacting factors upon Kaurna’s significant sites, encouraging open and honest dialogue about developing pathways in working together for future generations.
