The SYP Water Tower Mural Trail is a 60 km self-drive tour that leads you past five incredible murals in different Yorke Peninsula towns – Port Vincent, Stansbury, Coobowie, Edithburgh and Yorketown.
Port Vincent Water Tower was painted by Camilo Delgado, assisted by Jasmine Crisp and features scenes of local fishing culture.
Stansbury Water Tower was painted by Mike Makatron and Conrad Bizjak and features blue swimmer crabs, a large pelican, dolphins, oysters and the iconic jetty and coastline.
Coobowie Water Tank was painted by Creature Creature and Jason Parker, and features local birdlife including the Great Egret, Black Swan, Royal Spoonbill, Cape Barren Goose and Pied Oystercatcher.
Edithburgh Water Tower was painted by Mike Makatron and assisted by Conrad Bizjak, and features underwater jetty views and images of a Pyjama Squid, Leafy Sea Dragon, White Bellied Sea Eagle and Troubridge Lighthouse.
Yorketown Water Tower was painted by Jasmine Crisp and features brightly coloured canola, wheat, bottlebrush, pink salt lakes, historic buildings and a RFDS Airplane.
