Stansbury Walking Trail

The Stansbury Walking Trail is a total distance of 6.3 km, along the coastline, from the town jetty to Pitts Cutting – south of the township.
The trails provide walking, cycling and disabled access to the region’s coastal reserves, with rest areas and lookout points along the way. Along the walking trail you’ll also find adult gym equipment, which can be used in conjunction with your walk.
Stage 1 (Approximately 2.3 km return)
The trail links the Foreshore Caravan Park and the town Cemetery.
This walk offers great views of the Gulf St Vincent, the Adelaide Hills and Port Giles Jetty and silos. Pelicans, Black Swans and many other water birds can be seen wading in the shallows.
Stage 2 (Approximately 2.0 km return)
From the town jetty, a paved pathway follows the foreshore, past picnic areas and the town playground. The adult gym equipment is located along this section of the walking trail.
Stage 3 (Approximately 2.0 km return)
This walk can be taken via the beach or the cliff top trail as an extension to stage one. The elevated coastal views provide many great look-out spots.
