Macclesfield Art Festival Creative Pursuits

Macclesfield Arts Festival Creative Pursuits offers accessible, affordable ‘bite-sized’ creative experiences offered in one township. Audiences may attend the art exhibition showcasing a range of mediums (photography, sculpture, ceramics, glass, watercolour, oils, acrylic) or stay and ‘play’ to attend one of the many interactive creative workshops on offer (weaving, printmaking, clay work, limestone sculpting, rug making, felting, drawing, painting, leather work, music).

SA Stone Sculptors Association with Creative Pursuits are presenting a mini-symposium sculpture symposium 27th April -Sun 5 May 1-4pm daily at Crystal Lake Park.
Come out over 9 days and watch the process unfold from raw stone to finished sculpture. There’ll be air hammers, angle grinders and the time honoured hammer and chisel method on display. Energy, sound and creativity abounds!
