Penguin Caravan Park is located in the coastal town of Penguin on Tasmania’s North West Coast.
Penguin Caravan Park is located on the beach and has commanding views over Bass Strait. There are six park cabins accommodating 21 guests, each has ensuite, full cooking facilities and television. There are 20 powered sites and 18 camp sites.
The property has waterfront sites, laundry facilities and is only a two-minute walk from a public barbecue area, playground and skate park. Penguin is a historic town with much history to explore, along with a wonderful beach right at your camp door.
Nearby you can watch penguins coming ashore at dusk to feed their young. Explore the beautiful beaches, lush green farmlands, forests and mountains a short drive away. Follow the bushwalking and horse riding trails in the Dial Range behind the town. Dial Range Reserve and Gunns Plains Caves are a few minutes drive away. The alpine lakes and peaks of Cradle Mountain National Park are within easy driving distance, a 15-minute drive to Burnie and a 20-minute drive to Devonport. Back in Penguin, play golf, bowls, tennis or skate at the skate park.
