The Huon Burrow is a unique underground house nestled into the hillside, with amazing views over the Huon River. The accommodation is an easy walking distance of cafes and restaurants and the Wooden Boat Centre all located at the historic township of Franklin in the Huon Valley.
Franklin is located about 40 minutes’ drive south of Hobart and is renowned for rowing and wooden boat building and restoring. You can also enjoy sailing the river on the restored Danish sailing ship, the Yukon, or just enjoy the birdlife.
