Malting Lagoon Guest House & Brewery

We offer modern, comfortable, Guest House accommodation in Coles Bay, on the East Coast of Tasmania, the gateway to Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay.

Our two guest rooms are within our home, yet still offer our guests privacy, with King Size beds (or 2 singles), private ensuite, block-out electric blinds, free Wifi, plus Netflix and Stan on the Smart TV. There is a guest lounge and a covered deck area. The garden has a BBQ, picnic table and fire pit. We can host a maximum of four guests, sleeping two per room.

We have our own Nano Brewery onsite and offer beer for sale by the glass to in-house guests only.

We are only a 12-minute drive from the Wineglass Bay Lookout car park and walking tracks. We have a great knowledge of the local area and can recommend walks, hikes, fishing spots, activities and local restaurants based on your needs.

Coles Bay is 2 hours drive from Hobart and Launceston airports. Our guest house is a short drive to the walking tracks to Wineglass Bay Lookout and the Wineglass Beach.
