Welcome to Australia’s oldest continually operating boutique singe malt whisky distillery.

Our Visitor Centre is open daily (except public holidays) for tour bookings and hosts a restaurant with breathtaking views across the Emu Valley.

Visitors can enjoy a fully interpreted tour of the distillery (Whisky Walk) to find out the fascinating origins behind the brand and learn how Hellyers Road crafts its award-winning single malt whiskies. The Whisky Walk also provides guests with the opportunity to pour and wax seal their very own bottle of Hellyers Road Distiller’s Choice whisky – the oldest bottle-your-own aged statement whisky in the southern hemisphere – complete with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.

Bookings for the Whisky Walk are highly recommended.

Following the tour, you can sample a range of single malts, and Tasmania’s most loved and award winning whisky cream liqueurs at the dedicated tasting counter – or enjoy a superb restaurant showcasing local produce from Tasmania’s northwest coast.
