An Exclusive Wildlife Stay at Grampians Paradise, is where you get the best possible opportunity to experience seeing the private lives of the native Australian birds and animals within the grounds and surrounding ecosystem of Grampians Paradise Camping and Caravan Parkland.

During an Exclusive Wildlife Stay, no other guests will be staying.

An Exclusive Wildlife Stay is a minimum of two nights – it takes time to settle into the rhythm of the ecosystem and get to experience the best of the Grampians Paradise Wildlife. Longer stays are also possible and are very much worthwhile.

There is a maximum of 12 guests for an exclusive wildlife stay, and they never combine separate bookings for an Exclusive Wildlife Stay – it’s just you, your friends and or family and staff and family of Grampians Paradise, plus of course the wildlife.

While there can be up to 12 people in your group for an Exclusive Wildlife Stay, they highly recommend lower numbers. Smaller groups significantly increase the chances of getting close to the wildlife. The less people there are, the more relaxed and happy the native animals and birds are to go about their normal daily activities while being watched.

The retro and vintage six-berth on-site caravans are suitable for up to six people with a maximum of four adults. They have a small dinning and kitchenette area with limited cooking facilities. You will need to bring your own bedding including sheets, pillows, doonas or sleeping bags and towels.

The on-site caravans do not have an ensuite bathroom. For the toilets and showers you will need to walk 35 metres to the amenities building where there is also a children’s bathroom and disabled bathroom.

There is space outside the on-site caravans to set a small tent.

Around 70 metres away from the caravans there is a very basic camp kitchenette. It is great alternative for outdoors cooking for the caravans, particularly for a group. It has a four burner gas stove top, gas cooking ring, gas barbecues, a shared refrigerator and electric kettles. Outdoor wash up sinks with hot and cold water are located at the amenities block.

Large, grassy unpowered sites that are spread out spaciously in a beautiful setting, some with views of the mountains, some with very large shady trees planted by the family over the last 90 years and some with views over the wetland ponds. There are some basic facilities (showers with hot and cold water, flushing toilets, dish washing sinks, a centralised treated drinking water tap and a very basic camp kitchen), then Grampians Paradise could be what you are looking for.

Some people are after other things. Here’s a list of what we don’t have, to help you work out if you would enjoy a stay at Grampians Paradise.

Not supplied: No potable water to the sites, no sullage at sites, no concrete pads for caravans, no dump point for toilet waste, no street lights or paved roads, no playground (just lots of space for play), no shop (The Grampians Store is 10 minutes drive away, where there is petrol, diesel and ice) and no Wi-Fi (Telstra and Optus have data and call coverage in the camping ground. Most Vodafone’s no coverage). There is television reception. There are four kilometres of gravel roads into Grampians Paradise.
