Spences Bridge Forest Drive

Historical Sites and Heritage Locations

The Spences Bridge Forest Drive is a narrated tour that encompasses nine sites guided through Gunbower State Forest. The history of the timber industry, Aboriginal heritage and wetlands are some of the details featured on the drive.

The drive starts at Spences Bridge Road, Gannawarra and concludes at the twin bridges on the town limit of Koondrook.

There are two options to enjoy the guided drive in the magnificent redgum forest: play a CD in your car or download the free podcast onto your smartphone.

The CD with information is available for purchase at the Gateway to Gannawarra Visitor Centre in Cohuna for $5.

The free podcast is available for download on Soundcloud.
