The Pyramid Hill and District Historical Society preserves and promotes the history of Bald Rock, Mincha, Pyramid Hill, Durham Ox, Mincha West, Sylvaterre, Loddon Vale, Mologa, Macorna, Terrick Terrick and Yarrawalla.

The society operates a museum on McKay Street, Pyramid Hill, displaying numerous items and memorabilia collected over the generations. The museum is an ongoing attraction to past residents, visitors to the district and local school children.

The museum stores a large collection of photos, family histories, local club records and items of historical interest. It displays honour boards from schools and halls that no longer exist in the surrounding small communities. The society has also published an extensive collection of books and DVDs preserving the stories and history of the area.

The museum is open on Tuesdays from 10 am to 3 pm and at other times by appointment. Groups and students are welcome.
