The Big Culvert

Landmarks and Buildings

The Big Culvert was built in the 1870s to allow water to flow under the road and is constructed from granite and bluestone.

Only a short 50 metre walk from the car park on Marysville-Woods Point Road, you can walk through the tunnel set amongst the lush ferns and tall eucalypts.

It can get quite muddy and slippery in and around the tunnel so be sure to wear hiking or gum boots.
