This award-winning, indigenous-funded documentary tells the extraordinary story of Rev Dr Djiniyini Gondarra OAM, an initiated clan leader within the Yolŋu Nation, and his 45-year journey fighting for the political and spiritual freedom of his people. At 79 years old, Dr Gondarra has spent most of his life as a civil rights activist, spiritual leader, cross-cultural mediator and educator dedicated to upholding the traditional law of his people.
