The river runs gently through a few bends near the camping area and there is some sandy and slightly sloping banks which offer a beach feel where you can relax and watch the world go by, while the kids enjoy a cool off in the shallow water during the. warmer months. Enjoy all your favourite water activities on the Moore River, including paddle boarding, kayaking and swimming or spot some wildlife from the river banks. You might see a few different species of fish, kangaroos, kookaburras, parrots, hawks and other native birds. There is so much to see and do in the surrounding areas, with plenty of walking space available, Moore River National Park just 40 minutes drive and the beautiful coastline just 20 minutes away. Enjoy the many 4WD tracks, sandboarding, snorkelling, fishing and windsurfing, all within an easy drive from the property. We have a large fire pit available for campers to enjoy, along with a barbeque area and a toilet near so the essentials are covered.
