The Cove
Where To Stay Denmark, Denmark, Western Australia
Located three kilometres from Denmark and bordering Wilson Inlet, The Cove is a natural environment to explore and enjoy. The 24 hectares of native Karri, Jarrah and Yellow Tingle forest is home to over 50 species of birds and many wildflowers.
The property’s walk trails link directly to the Bibbulmun Track and to the local cycleways, allowing ease of access to explore further afield. The sheltered bay allows small boats direct access, making it an ideal location for water-based activities such as fishing, sailing, canoeing and windsurfing.
Five handcrafted, self-contained chalets cater for a variety of needs from honeymooners to families and larger groups. Wood fires and insulation make for a cosy winter retreat, while extensive use of roof and wall glazing ensures full appreciation of the surrounding environment.
Built by the woodworker owner-managers, The Cove is an example of timber usage in its many forms, from bush timbers to finely crafted furniture. An active woodcraft workshop is located on the property, and you are welcome to visit and view ongoing work.
