Djinda Kaal Dreaming

Visitors are encouraged to visit Noongar woman, from the Ballardong, Wongi and Wadjuk clans, for art classes, commissioned art or murals. Fiona Reidy-Carroll is a passionate teacher and even better artists who enjoys sharing her culture with everyone. Aboriginal people are gifted story tellers and many of her paintings are about her people in the hunter and gatherer days, being nomadic people who lived by the six season. Djinda Kaal is my artist name in Noongar meaning ‘Star Fire’ which her beautiful mother chose for her.
