Take a step back in time as they guide you on a six kilometre hike along the historical Victoria Reservoir Walk Trail in Korung National Park.

As you experience the magic of this stunning trail, you’ll admire the beautiful wandoo and she-oak forests that compliment the granite outcrops and enjoy the views from different vantage points along the way. You’ll admire the amazing valley views, giant granite boulders, open vistas and city skyline views as we make our way along this history-rich Perth hiking trail.

You’ll take in the incredible blue waters of the reservoir before moving on to the old Victoria Dam for a dose of history. When you reach Australia’s oldest wooden bridge – The Mason and Bird Tramway, you’ll enjoy a delicious gourmet morning tea before finishing our hike with some amazing valley views and boulder hopping! This is a very scenic and interesting trail with lookouts, interpretive signage, granite outcrops and a multitude of landscapes to admire.

Watching the Milky Way unfold in the night sky is truly magical. Witnessing it from Sullivan Rock is simply unforgettable!

Hike from Sullivan Rock to Mount Vincent through lush Jarrah and Banksia forests and then out onto giant granite slopes to enjoy the sunset and amazing views from the peak.

Here, enjoy a delicious gourmet spread of antipasto goodness as you watch the sky transform from daylight to dusk to darkness.

Arriving back at Sullivan Rock, Astronomer Rob Hunt will take you on a journey of the night sky and talk about the stars, moon, constellations, and planets, then you will have a chance to view it all through a 14-inch telescope. This will be quite a special starry night to remember!

The total hike distance is 5 kilometres, the terrain is quite uneven with a steep ascent/descent so sturdy shoes with good grip are a must, the trail is achievable for most people.

Experience the impressive 250-year-old King Jarrah Tree as you loop through the Jarrah Forest and admire views of the Murray River on the King Jarrah Hiking Experience with Off The Beaten Track WA.

The King Jarrah trail traces the former transportation routes of the once vibrant timber industry. The much-prized hardwoods of jarrah, marri, and blackbutt saw a proliferation of timber towns in the late nineteenth century and were an important source of employment for the early pioneers.

This 18-kilometre guided hike can be quite challenging with some steep rocky sections, but the last 11 kilometres is relatively flat as it follows the Murray River on an old 4 x 4 track. You can expect to see plenty of wildlife and birdlife and hear the water flowing along the river on this full-day hiking experience in Lane Poole Reserve, Dwellingup.

Off The Beaten Track WA will lead you on a hike along the Bibbulmun Track through mixed jarrah forest from Sullivan Rock to Mt Cooke Campsite. After setting up camp at Mt Cooke, you will enjoy dinner to the sound of the black cockatoo’s song. As the sun goes down we will light the campfire and enjoy the mesmerising flames, warmth and ambiance as the cool night air sets in.

On day two you will leave the heavy packs at camp and head on up to the summit of Mt Cooke and hike along the ridge to the elusive Mt Cooke Cave before returning to camp for lunch. After you have recharged, you’ll hike back to Sullivan Rock together. The comradery of a group Overnight Hike is like no other and the sense of achievement you will gain from this experience is very fulfilling!

Discover the Numbat trail in the Paruna Wildlife Sanctuary with Off The Beaten Track WA!

The Numbat Trail is the longest of three trails that Paruna has to offer and right from the start you can see why it has a good reputation. You can expect a complex mosaic of woodland, shrubland and heathland throughout steep granite slopes, boardwalks, eerie marshes and amazing views of the Paruna Gorge. As you traverse the many switchbacks the fresh scent of eucalyptus is ever present.

Paruna Sanctuary is in the Darling Range, and sits on the western margin of the ‘Yilgarn Block’; an ancient granite landform that formed over 2.5 billion years ago. The scenic Avon Valley, where Paruna is located, was carved out by the Avon River over thousands of years. The sanctuary itself is characterised by extremely steep slopes, numerous streams and creeklines, and areas of exposed granite.

The sanctuary is home to a number of significant species including the threatened Chuditch (Western Quoll), Carnaby’s Black Cockatoo, and small mammals such as the Honey Possum which lives in Paruna’s diverse heathlands, and the Western Pygmy Possum.

As the sun goes down you will witness the Serpentine Valley transition from an outstandingly scenic wonderland of things to see to a utopia of sounds and scents and all from the top of Kitty’s Ridge! You will be totally immersed in the lush jarrah forest and the tranquil sounds of the Gooralong Brook as you hike through Serpentine National Park to a secluded granite outcrop for a spectacular sunset in the valley.

There is something very mysterious about a full moon! Experience ziplining and high ropes obstacles amongst the beautiful Jarrah and Pine trees of Nanga, a gorgeous eight kilometre hike along the Chuditch trail, and a delicious morning tea, on the Dwellingup Treetops Adventure Hike!

You will experience exhilarating views as you fly through the treetops or quickly stop to catch your breath in the middle of the suspended platforms. Breathe in the fresh air from the pine and jarrah trees as you swing, leap and wobble high above Nanga Mill! Experience soaring aerial obstacles up to 25 metres high that’ll have you flying and laughing with the kookaburras as you push your limits and challenge yourself!

Follow the Gooralong Brook and experience Perth’s best hiking trail, Kitty’s Gorge and all its sights, sounds and smells!

Mt Cooke is the highest peak in the Darling Ranges and is definitely their favourite!

Unlike its buddies Mt Cuthbert and Mt Vincent, Mt Cooke features around three kilometres of trail along the main ridge of the summit and spectacular views in all directions. Within the first five minutes of this hike you’ll find yourself ascending up the south side of the monadnock along a rugged narrow rocky trail and will be immediately impressed by large sloping granite outcrops and giant boulders.

You’ll take the incline nice and easy but as they reach the top you’ll stop to explore the Mt Cooke Cave! This hiking experience can be quite steep in parts but is very rewarding and a whole lot of fun! You can expect stunning views in all directions, rugged landscapes and serenity as you immerse yourself in this very special trail.

As you meander along the summit of Mt Cooke, you will stop to admire the views from 582 metre above sea level and enjoy a delicious gourmet picnic.

Experience the stunning views of Piesse Brook, Rocky Pools and the Helena River Valley as they guide you on a nine kilometre hike along Perth’s best hiking trail; the Bibbulmun Track, before enjoying a two course feast with cider at Core Cider House in Pickering Brook.

You will meander through lush jarrah forests and wandoo woodlands, past giant granite boulders and admire the sound of cascades as you immerse yourself in the beauty of Kalamunda National Park. Discover Dwellingup with Off The Beaten Track WA as you embark on the Hotham Valley for a train ride from Dwellingup to Etmilyn Train Station – an old 1920s train station along the Dwellingup Forest Railway. You’ll disembark at the Etmilyn Train Station for a short stroll around the Etmilyn Forest Walk before jumping on the Bibbulmun Track for your return hike to town, where you’ll enjoy some tasty gourmet pizzas.

The Bibbulmun Track is Western Australia’s very own world-class long-distance trail. When you immerse yourself in the Bibbulmun beauty found in the Darling Ranges it is easy to see why this trail is so highly regarded!

The Four Peaks Endurance Hike will take you up Mt Vincent and Mt Cuthbert tackling steep rocky ascents and descents whilst you take in the stunning views of the Darling Ranges.

They will step up the pace whilst they lead you along the Bibbulmun Track from Sullivan Rock to the peak of Mt Cuthbert, where they will take a short break to recharge and then return via Mt Vincent to Sullivan’s. All this whilst surrounded by mixed jarrah forest, an abundance of wildflowers, and ‘mountain’ views!

Kitty’s Gorge features one of Perth’s most scenic and secluded waterfalls!

The Kalamunda to Mundaring Weir section of the Bibbulmun Track features steep rocky terrain, flowing waters, granite boulders, picturesque views over the Mundaring Weir and Lake CY O’Connor plus amazing valley views all combined in 20 kilometres of hiking gold!

From the Bibbulmun Track Northern Terminus (Kalamunda), you will travel through the former golf course that is now known as Jorgensen Park and into Kalamunda National Park. Following the creek line of Piesse Brook downwards you will admire spectacular valley views before you start heading uphill past granite outcrops and boulders and through lush mixed Jarrah forest.

Shortly after you pass the Camel Farm the track levels out and stays relatively flat as you pass numerous gorgeous granite outcrops which make excellent vantage points to stop and take in the inspiring views of Paull’s Valley.

You’ll stop at Golden View lookout to admire the views of the Mundaring Weir before hiking through Beelu National Park to reach the Weir and Lake CY O’Connor. After crossing the weir, you will pass some large granite boulders before reaching the Mundaring Weir Hotel where you can have a nice cold refreshing drink and toast to your hiking achievement!

Starting at the historic town of Jarrahdale, you’ll follow the Stacey’s Loop and Kitty’s Gorge trails through the old-growth forest, over boardwalks and bridges, alongside the Gooralong Brook, and up to secluded granite outcrops that offer superb valley views. You’ll admire the Serpentine Valley, its stunning vistas, peaceful sounds, and fresh scents. As you wander through the undulating woodlands you’ll be totally in awe of the picturesque forest that will lead you all the way to Serpentine Falls.

After working up an appetite on your hike through Serpentine National Park, you’ll head to the stunning Millbrook Winery to dine on alfresco perfection fresh from the kitchen.

Manns Gully is a wandoo woodlands paradise featuring large granite outcrops and a spectacular gully that feeds into Lake C. Y. O’Connor.

Be guided along the Bibbulmun Track from Perth Hills Discovery Centre, through the lush Jarrah forest and into serenity. As you take steps through the wilderness you’ll notice the mixed jarrah forest that surrounds you, complete with xanthorrhoeas, zamia palms and spots of colourful wildflowers. You’ll take a narrow, windy trail lined with karri hazel to your granite meditation zone. As you find your zen the sounds of nature will ignite your experience and sink you deeper into a state of bliss!

After a delicious and nutritious morning tea and some warming herbal tea, you’ll retrace your steps through the forest to complete your hiking experience.

Experience the impressive and historic Swan View Tunnel, the delightfully scenic National Park Falls and views of the Swan Coastal Plain from the Eagle View Lookout on the Tunnels, Falls and Eagle Views Hiking Experience.

The Swan View Tunnel, located in John Forrest National Park was built in 1895 and is the earliest tunnel in WA’s history. The construction of the railway line was a major engineering project managed by C Y O’Connor. An incredible amount of rocks and rubble were moved to construct the embankments, along with intensive blasting, digging, dynamite and horsepower.

Join Off The Beaten Track WA as they guide you on a 10 kilometre hike in John Forrest National Park, through tunnels, past waterfalls and cascades, and then following the ridge until they reach awe-inspiring views of the Perth city skyline!

The Bibbulmun (Bib) Track stretches 1003 kilometres from Kalamunda to Albany and is Western Australia’s longest walking trail.

Join in the 75-kilometre multi-day hiking adventure from Kalamunda to Brookton Highway in the Darling Range and be taken on a scenic journey over granite outcrops, through eucalyptus and wandoo forests, and across undulating landscapes.

You will experience parts of the Darling Range that are remote and only accessible by foot on this five-day adventure off the beaten track in WA!

This is a multi-day hiking experience carrying your own gear and being completely immersed in nature for five days.

Sullivan Rock to Mt Cuthbert is arguably one of the best day hike sections of the Bibbulmun Track!

As you ascend Mt Vincent, the views to the South West are stunning and worth stopping to admire. You’ll head over to the summit of Mt Vincent and back down along the Bibbulmun towards Mt Cuthbert. Not too far into the descent, you will be surrounded by lush Jarrah and Ghost Gum forest filled with Banksias and Grass Trees, on a cold wet day this valley feels quite mystical!

As you reach the top of Mt Cuthbert, you will be rewarded with a delicious morning tea and awe-inspiring views of the Monadnocks Conservation Park.

Experience the tranquillity and mindfulness of night hiking as you make your way along the Bibbulmun track, through the lush forest to Manns Gully.

You’ll be guided along the Bibbulmun Track from Perth Hills Discovery Centre, through mixed jarrah/marri forest, and directly into your happy place. As you take steps through the wilderness you’ll notice the tall trees, blooming parrot bush, xanthorrhoeas, zamia palms and spots of colourful wildflowers.

You’ll take a narrow, windy trail lined with karri hazel to your special twilight granite platform. Here you’ll enjoy some gourmet nibbles and warming herbal tea as you take in the calm of your surroundings. As you sit immersed in nature, your senses are ignited as you witness the changing hues of the setting sun across the gully!

You’ll retrace your steps through the forest to complete your hiking experience.

Whistlepipe Gully is a leisurely 3.5 kilometre trail in Mundy Regional Park that takes you along the gully’s edge past cascades and small waterfalls. The scenery on this hike is very pretty with the banks of the gully lined with lush green foliage, paper-bark trees, and a variety of wildflowers.

Discover the enchanted paperbarks, cascades and hidden natural spa of Roley Pools as we take you on a journey along the Boardwalk Trail.

At only 2.6 kilometres this grade three trail is perfect for beginner hikers wanting to dip their toe into hiking and little adventurers looking to explore!

You’ll pass giant granite boulders and the calm waters of the pools as you meander through the trees. Your Guides will share some insights on the environment and the role you all play in preserving it.

You will stop at Nature’s Spa and enjoy a delicious morning tea together before making your way back through the trees and past the boulders for one more dose of tranquillity.

Listen to waterfalls cascading downstream at Lesmurdie Falls and Whistlepipe Gully on the picturesque and tranquil 10 kilometre Waterfalls, Wildflowers and Wandoo Hiking Experience.

You will experience two of Perth’s best trails in this ultimate Mundy Regional Park hike! Enjoy picturesque views of the Perth city skyline and Swan Coastal Plain and the surrounding valley from multiple vantage points. After hiking down to the base of the falls at Lesmurdie Falls you will hike back up the steep but narrow Karri Hazel lined trail lined until you reach the lookout. Here you will stop to admire the surrounding valley and the falls down below before you kick on to explore the beautiful Wandoo woodlands of Mundy Regional Park.

As you reach Whistlepipe Gully, the blooming Acacia Wattle will greet you and you’ll be immediately immersed in this trail’s natural beauty. Following the gully’s edge past cascades and small waterfalls, the scenery on this trail is spectacular and made all the better by the ambiance of the trickling water, paper-bark trees and blooming wildflowers.
