The Merredin Railway Water Tower is a 15-metre-high tower that guides visitors into the rural town of Merredin. Located in Pioneer Park, the 1893 tower held the water that was used to operate steam locomotives for more than 60 years.

Containing an extensive collection of railway memorabilia including a beautifully preserved 1897 steam engine, the museum will appeal to all train enthusiasts.

Merredin is also home to several other charming historic buildings including the town hall and Cummins Theatre. Take a walk around the town admiring the streetscapes.
