Eden Rotary Lookout

Natural Attractions

Rotary Lookout is one of Eden’s most spectacular lookout points with panoramic views across Twofold Bay.

It is one of the premier land-based whale-watching locations on the Sapphire Coast and New South Wales.

During spring, humpback whales often come right into the bay to rest, nurse and feed on their long journey to Antarctica.

It is one of the only places along the coast where this behaviour occurs.

Historic Boyds Tower can be seen on the headland across the bay, marking the start of the Light to Light walk through spectacular Beowa National Park.

There are free gas barbecues, picnic facilities, amenities and a children’s playground located a short distance from the lookout point.

Stroll the 1.5 kilometre return Rotary Walk along the headland, where you’ll encounter a coastal pine forest, tea tree tunnels, elevated vantage points and Marine Rescue precinct.
