Darwin Visual Arts Inc. is a not-for-profit, artist-run initiative (ARI) that hosts five (5)
galleries including the Entry space, and two (2) studios.

DVA is committed to supporting local artists at all stages of their careers by building capacity for creative practice and fostering critical dialogue through the provision of studios, exhibition spaces, resources, and a contemporary arts program that is relevant in the local, national and international context.

DVA’s goals are focused on effectively supporting the development of professional practice and skills for local artists through creating comprehensive, hands-on opportunities, to support the realisation of quality outcomes and maturation of artistic practice, particularly in terms of curatorial refinement and professional presentation.

DVA, now in its 38th year, is located on the Ground Floor of the Harbour View Plaza, in the heart of Darwin city: 1/8 McMinn Street, Darwin NT 0800.
