Conglomerate House

Bed and Breakfast

Conglomerate House is a miner’s bungalow built in 1900 near the Queen River now transformed into a comfortable three-bedroom home.

The house accommodates up to six guests and is a 10-minute walk to the West Coast Wilderness Railway and Queenstown’s grocery stores, galleries, restaurants and hotels.

For heating, there is a wood heater with supplied firewood in the dining room with a heat pump and an electric flame-effect heater in the lounge. There are electric heaters and electric blankets in each bedroom.

Milk, cereals, juice, bread and condiments for breakfast are provided as well as cooking staples such as rice, pasta, potatoes and onions to cook your own dinner. There are also seasonal vegetables available in the garden to forage.

All three bedrooms feature queen size beds and have digital keypad locks for your security and privacy.

If you love adventure or just want to relax, the West Coast can take as little or as much effort as you like.
