Historic Hunters Hotel

Behind the beautiful ironwork of the Federation Freestyle facade lies our beautifully restored heritage-listed hotel. The interior is filled with historic features and reflects the hotel’s 125 years history. The rooms are quiet and luxuriously furnished with period-style furniture and all double rooms have modern ensuite bathrooms reflecting the requirements of the modern discerning traveler.

A substantial continental buffet breakfast is provided for our guests. While we are currently operating as a bed and breakfast only, plans are in place to reopen the cafe, restaurant and bar in the future.

We are situated in the centre of the main street of Queenstown within 2 minutes’ walking distance to the West Coast Wilderness Railway, restaurants, museums, art galleries, cafes and shops.
