Castaway Holiday Apartments offer six affordable, modern, spacious self-contained apartments in Strahan, on Tasmania’s picturesque West Coast.

The two-bedroom self-contained apartments cater to two to four guests. The open plan lounge and dining area are spacious and well-appointed, including a 32” flat screen television and a DVD player, the kitchen has both a full-size oven and refrigerator. A queen bed is situated in the main bedroom and two single beds in the second bedroom, all are fitted with electric blankets for extra warmth during the cooler months. Enjoy our shared garden barbecue area, guest laundry, complimentary DVD library and Wi-Fi to all rooms.

All apartments have level access and parking at the front door. One apartment is equipped for disabled guests (with assistance). The wharf and restaurants are just a five-minute walk; harbour cruises depart daily to explore the Gordon River and Sarah Island, and can offer a booking service for activities and the many local restaurants.

Castaway Holiday Apartments is a four-hour drive from both Launceston and Hobart, through spectacular scenery.

The apartments provide an economically priced base from which couples, families, or groups can explore the surrounding World Heritage area.

Two Bedroom Apartment

Ideal for 2 to 4 guests. Sleep soundly, in a Queen bed, in the main bedroom, and with two long single beds in the second bedroom, all with electric blankets for your comfort in the cooler months. Roll-Out beds are available for an additional guest, if required, subject to availability. Enjoy your own spacious, well-furnished living area, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, including full size cooker and fridge/freezer. The apartments are warm and cosy, in the cooler months, and are situated only a five-minute walk to the town centre and wharf. If travelling with young children we offer a high-chair and cot, subject to availability. Be entertained with our complimentary DVD library, 32″ flat screen TV and DVD player in all apartments. We also offer complimentary Wi-Fi internet access to all apartments, with unlimited download throughout your stay. The full kitchen includes, a microwave, toaster and kettle and all your cutlery needs, we even supply aluminum foil and cling wrap. The bathrooms are fitted with heat lamps to keep you warm whilst showering, and all linen is supplied, with extra blankets and pillows in the apartments for extra comfort.
