Burnie Arts Centre

Entertainment Venues

The new Burnie Arts Centre is a newly reimagined fully integrated multi-platform arts centre offering an annual program of performing arts, functions, changing exhibitions and historic displays.

Visit Burnie Arts Centre to experience permanent and temporary displays offering an intriguing pathway between the past and present. We invite visitors to engage with the layered histories, unique individuals, incredible industrial endeavours and notable events that have created the Burnie we know today.
Through objects and images drawn from our extensive collections we offer a range of special interpretations featuring First Nations stories of the North West to Burnie’s role as port and pulp mill.

With a cafe and arts retail to be added in 2025, Burnie Arts Centre will become the must-visit cultural destination on the North Coast of Tasmania.
