Access via the Swanwick Boat Ramp, you can fish from the shore here for dinner.

Swanwick is on the East Coast of Tasmania, an Island State of Australia. It is adjacent to the Freycinet National Park where native animals can be seen in a unique environment within a few metres of the roads. Short walks will reward you with even more spectacular scenery.

Swanwick has access to a variety of water sports from safe beaches for children to ocean game fishing areas. To help you relax from a hard day at the beach try tennis or golf. In addition to the National Park, you can view other scenic areas and visit nearby wineries.

The local oyster farm runs tours of their operation on Great Oyster Bay, offering views of pelicans, swans and other birdlife as well as the spectacular scenery from the water.
